Four Significant Archangels
There are many archangels to call upon when we are in need, but for this course, we have selected four, each possessing their own gifts and attributes, each powerful in their own right and all ready to serve and assist you whenever you call upon them. You'll find exercise and specific meditations to assist you in calling on each Archangel for assistance.
Archangel Raphael
The name means"God heals.”Archangel Raphael is the Archangel that supervises healers and healing for all the earth's population. It's sensible for everyone to call upon Archangel Raphael for his help with healing.
Ask Raphael for help when you are in any kind of pain, whether it be physical, emotional, romantic, intellectual or spiritual. He will somehow inspire you with sudden ideas and thoughts giving you just the right information to help the healing.Pay attention to and then follow these angelic answers to your prayers.
When asked for healing assistance, Raphael surrounds and nurtures people with the Emerald Green light of his Halo. Green is the color of healing and clairvoyant people may see emerald green sparkles when Raphael is around.
Except for situations where the persons own death or illness is part of their overall divine plan, Archangel Raphael will energetically supply whatever is needed to promote healing. It's important to note he will not always swoop in and heal everything right away. He could let you know that your negative thoughts have created this illness and to get rid of it, you must change your thinking. Hand over old anger to him for cleansing in the light. When this anger is gone, you will feel much more at peace and the effects of rage and anger in your body can be healed.
Raphael, coaches and motivates healers whispering instructions into the ears of doctors, surgeons, psychologists, nurses and other caregivers including scientists. His intervention help scientists in making breakthroughs in medical cures.
Ask for Raphael's participation to promote healing in rocky marriages, addiction, grief and loss, family relationships and stressful lifestyles. Simply say his name and make a specific request:
“Archangel Raphael, please come to my side help me feel better about…Please surround me in your healing energy and guide my actions and thoughts so that I am healed.”
Raphael is also the Archangel in charge of travel. As you check in at the airport, ask Raphael to watch over your luggage, the plane and your travels. Raphael and the traveler angels can control airplane turbulence, give you directions when you're lost, keep a leaky tire inflated and prevent your car from running out of gas (for a while anyway!).
Ask Raphael to smooth the way in your travels. Don’t forget to thank Archangel Raphael and the angels for their help!
Exercise 1: Healing others with Archangels Raphael’s Energy
You can also work with Archangel Raphael to heal others.We are all beings of light and anyone can work with the healing energy and assist another person's healing. You do not need any special training to do this type of healing work. You just act as a channel for the healing energy.All that is needed is your intention to help the other person in their highest good. Archangel Rafael, your higher self and spirit guides, and the higher self and spirit guides of the person you are doing the healing work with, are directing the healing being done. Your main job is support for the person, or"receiver", and to facilitate healing work.
Make the person you're going to work on comfortable by having them sit in a chair or lie down.Together, ask your ego-selves to move toward my left shoulder.Let the ego-selves know they are only observers during the healing and know this is so.Ask your angels, guides and the receivers angels and guides to accompany you on this quest to heal now. Ask God/dess to send down a beam of protective white light.God/dess hear's your request and in your mind’s eye you can immediately envision a beam of light coming down from the universe. Watch it surrounding you and the receiver in protective glow. Both of you say out loud,
"Archangel Raphael please come to us now an assistant in the healing in[receiver]'s highest good and that [receiver] accepts the healing in their own highest good.”
Of course, all of this can be done silently. The person being healed doesn't have to participate in the prayers and invitation. But it is helpful if they do take an active role in healing.
Place your hands on or about the person's head. Picture Archangel Raphael standing behind you and working through you. Try to envision or feel the healing green light energy flowing from target to Raphael into your hands and then into the crown chakra of the receiver. Your hands may become warm from the energy.
After several minutes of this, move on two specific areas of the body where it is needed the most. Trust your own feelings and guidance on the length of time to spend on each area and where to place your hands.
You could be guided to work on areas that have nothing to do with the areas of the symptoms, disease or injury. This could be underlying causes or just a separate need for healing in that area of the body. Just follow your intuition.
When you're through, don't forget to thank Archangel Raphael and the spirits involved.
Working with Archangel Raphael and his healing energy is very easy. The healing is done by your intentions and willingness to work with the beings of light ministering to you and the people that you are working with.
Archangel Uriel
"The Angel of the Ministration.”This Archangel whose name means "Light of God," brings Divine light into our lives as he transforms painful memories and releases painful burdens of the past.He helps turn our first disappointments into our greatest blessings. Uriel assists us in releasing unforgiveness and resentment. When called on, Uriel and his legions rush to bring you peace. Uriel’s goal is to assist you in anchoring yourself in love that is strong enough to withstand negativity. Invite him into your life to assist you in becoming the master of your energies.
He is a fiery angel and associated with absolute justice and remorse. When he is around you, you may see sparkles of violet, indigo, lavender and silver.
In Christian tradition, Uriel is the Angel of Music, the Angel of Poetry and the Angel of Prophecy. Accepted as an Archangel by the church for many centuries, he was finally removed from the records in 745AD as the church became increasingly concerned with the prominence the public was placing upon angels.
Sometimes described as the Archangel of salvation,Uriel teaches the path of the heart, the fire of pure love.Ask Uriel to take your pain of the past, he will ease your heart and mind of old unforgiveness, towards yourself and others.Uriel’s symbol of an open hand holding a flame depicts a great gift to humanity. It is the flame of love to ignite the heart in service of God. Uriel holds out the flame of love towards all souls. The soul by filling with the flame of love becomes devoted servant of the creators plan.
Uriel's claim of love, the fire of God, the light of God, purifies emotional and mental understanding transmuting the lower vibrations and frequency that can assimilate spiritual understanding. The planet that Uriel is associated with is Venus, the planet symbolizing love.
Uriel is the master of bringing harmony into chaotic situations. He helps to center you in a place of inner peace during a crisis.He is also credited with helping to prevent and minimize danger in natural disasters such as earthquakes, tornadoes and floods. He will guide you to safety during these times.Ask Uriel to assist you whenever your life seems so chaotic you feel overwhelmed.
“Uriel, please help me to experience harmony and peace in this situation. I ask that you help to undo the effects of any mistakes that have been made.”
Let Uriel soothe your mind and help you keep a cool head when things are going crazy.For instance, if your finances or love relationship feel as if they're falling apart, Uriel can help you think straight so you can find a solution to your problems with a calm, clear, collective mind.
When going through a turbulent life change, ask Uriel to soothe the pain.
If you're having trouble with bosses, coworkers, customers, ask Archangel Uriel to help you.He will guide you in miraculous ways. Everyone will soon forget why they were angry in the first place.
Sometimes we create our own problems– Uriel can rescue us from these self-imposed crises.
He is instrumental in helping us fulfill our goals and dreams. Ask Uriel to be your partner on anything you're working on. He'll inspire you with ideas, keep you encouraged, motivated and help to manifest the material supplies that are needed for projects.
The Archangel Uriel is traditionally considered the angel of the Earth and assists in communicating with nature. He can be called on to assist with material and Earthly matters. Uriel is the angel of Ecology, the science of the whole Earth and the interrelationship of all life upon it.
He also supervises the Nature Spirits, those fairies and spirits to inhibit the elements of the earth, air, fire, and water, and to add so much to the beauty of nature.

Glory to the Universe
For everything is good and wonderful,
Holy Archangel Uriel,
protect and look after rivers,
their waters we drink,
life springs up from them;
Make vegetation sprout to feed Earth’s Creatures,
Make humans yield bread out of the land,
wine to enliven the heart,
oil and food to give him force,
Encourage humans to honor Mother Earth and
ALL creatures that inhabit this planet.
Help them to return this planet to its pure state.

Calling on Uriel to help Release Guilt and Forgive Others
We revisit forgiveness as it is the single most important accomplishment one can do.Guilt, regret and sorrow can also completely hinder you.Forgiveness is very powerful, and not only just forgiving others, but for ourselves.Guilt is very unconstructive and causes negativity and frustration.Make sure you forgive yourself for all mistakes, incomplete promises and unfulfilled commitments.
Forgiveness postures growth in mind and in spirit. We've all been wounded during our life, just as we have, at one time or another hurt someone else. Since we are only human, we constantly make snap judgments and decisions that later we live to regret. It's important that everyone tries to do the best they can at the time, even though it may not seem so.
Uriel can help to release emotional toxins that can be healed by forgiving someone.You must be willing to exchange a pain for peace.He has been known to deal out karmic debts to teach us to learn from our mistakes. He helps with issues of stability, ancestral heritage, and prophecy.
Before you go to sleep at night you can say,"Uriel, please visit me in my sleep tonight to release this toxic situation.”
Exercise 2: Forgiving Exercise
People carry way too much metaphysical baggage with them through life.The guilt and hurts doesn't serve you or the person you have an issue with. Don't be self-righteous and wait for an apology that's never going to come. By holding onto the anger and disappointment, you're putting your peace of mind in someone else's hands.
To get rid of any guilt or forgiveness issues you haven't had the courage to deal with, here's a great tool! It takes about an hour or two but is very powerful.
List of EVERYONE [AND I MEAN EVERYONE] who has ever hurt you in any way.Go all the way back to nursery school until today.Your list can never be too long! Don't forget to add yourself to the list!
Special note for people who don't think they are ready to forgive: even people that love us very much can sometimes hurt and betrayed us. Does that mean you have to hold a grudge and carry the bitterness with you for the remainder of your life? I hope not! If you do, think about how you felt when someone forgave you. It's much more painful to look at our own faults and feelings than to look at what others have done to us. It's much easier to blame problems on someone else, and who better than someone who has hurt us! But let's face it, we're all human, we all make mistakes.
Now list everyone you have hurt in your life, intentionally or unintentionally.This is not the blame game.
After you're done, go through the list, name by name. For each person say,
“I forgive you and release all karmic energy we have together in all directions of time. I send you love and bless you on your way.”
Ask for Archangel Uriel's help to release the disappointments, unforgiveness and resentment you're feeling. This takes a while but is very powerful. Free yourself and move on! If you feel like there was someone you still have trouble forgiving, see the next section.
Exercise 3: Releasing Stubborn Negativity and Issues
Go out into nature and ask a stone, leaf or nature object if it will take on your negative situation or issue.You will get a yes or no answer.
When you get a yes, thank the Spirit of the object and set the object next to your bed and pray for the object to take the doubts, pain, sadness, addiction, whatever your issue, while you sleep.
In the morning, do not touch the object, take a Kleenex and wrap it and take it to a nearby ocean, lake, pond or stream and say,”I release [issue]to nature to be cleansed and obliterated for eternity.”
Throw whatever your object is into the water.
Thank nature for taking the issue and it will be done!
Exercise 4: Meditation to Release Guilt and Forgive Others
This will be a difficult meditation for some; however, the peace of mind it will bring you will make it worth your time. If you find it difficult to let go of painful memories, you may want to do only parts at a time.Start with asking for forgiveness from others, then during another meditation, ask for self forgiveness then the next time, forgiveness for others.
Please find a place to sit or lie down comfortably to follow this guided meditation:
Archangel Michael
His name means,"who is like God”And he is also called the Prince of light.Is very large and holds the sword.His halo is cobalt blue mixed with purple.You may see sparkles of these colors when he is around. He is the greatest worrier angel of all– the protector of light and love. He helps eradicate fear and infuses people with courage.He will intercede for you instantly particularly when the situation is interfering with your life purpose.
Archangel Michael is also the angel in command of light workers.
Michael will bring a peaceful end to fights with family members, loved ones, neighbors, agencies or even strangers.
Archangel Michael clears negative energy when asked. Before you enter a crowded mall area, ask Archangel Michael to clear the negativity. He can take negatively minded people(Both living and deceased)To the light of God so that their minds can be healed. Call to Archangel Michael for his assistance whenever you feel negativity. He can clear negative energy from any space(Including from mind and heart)ask him to clear the energy in your home, office, car, etc.This is especially beneficial after arguments or other negative situations. You can ask them to clear your friends and family as long as you have their permission.
Whenever you feel afraid or an easy, mentally say,
"Archangel Michael, please protect and calm me now."
If you are in an unsafe place or neighborhood, ask Archangel Michael to be your angelic bodyguard – to escort, guide and protect you. In fact, you can ask Michael to be permanently stationed by your side so you’ll always be safe under his powerful protection. Just mentally say,
"Archangel Michael, please be my guardian angel in all directions of time. Thank you."
And it is so!
Archangel Michael is who you would call when you want to remove negativity and fear from your life. Layers of negative attitudes and limiting beliefs can be cleared and released energetically when you receive a ninja like soul clearing. Below is a meditation of an angelic soul cleaning with Archangel Michael. Try it out!
Remember, these mediations are intense and can take up to 30 minutes so be sure to keep them sacred!
Exercise 5: Protective Shield of Love and Light
Each morning upon waking ask for Archangel Michael to envelope you in a thick eggshell of white protective light to shield you from negative people and situations you come in contact with. This is especially useful for very empathetic people who tend to pick up on the emissions of people around them.If you don't to this each morning at least do this when you're going to crowded place like a mall, park, etc.
Exercise 6: Cutting Etheric Cords of Negativity
Cutting negative etheric cords is important because they can keep us connected to people they drain us.Some people complain that when they talk to certain people they feel tired and drained afterwards. This is especially true when people we love are constant complainers and those surrounded by drama, chaos and dysfunction. These people, whom we probably love very much, don't mean to drain us but do because they're very needy. Besides being diligent to"shield"yourself before coming into contact with these people, cutting the etheric cords afterwards is essential.
Each night, before bed, say;
"Archangel Michael please come to be now.
Please cut all negative etheric cords of fear that are zapping my joy, energy and vitality.
Please clear me of all negativity and fill all voids with loving white light.
Thank you!”
Archangel Gabrielle (or Gabriel)
Her name means "Hero of God" or “God is my strength.”Archangel Gabrielle radiates from an allergy.They early Catholic Church changed Gabrielle into the male angel, Gabriel, when everything was patriarchalized. Even God, who is referred to as both "Mother" and "Father” in early versions of the Bible, was later referred to as male. In this section we will refer to Gabrielle as feminine energy.
Gabrielle has a copper halo that matches the trumpet that she often carries.Many times clairvoyants see Gabrielle holding a lily or wearing a robe of light covered with a fleur-de-lis design.
Gabrielle and her Legion of angels help people whose life purpose involves communication, including teachers, writers, actors, photographers, speakers, etc.
Calling on Gabrielle for assistance with a career or a problem that involves putting forth your ideas and perceptions to others. Definitely ask her to be with you when you're going on a job interview or asking for a raise or promotion at work. For those in the metaphysical field, you can ask Gabrielle to help you find clients.
Mentally call for Gabrielle by saying,
“Beloved Gabrielle, please come to me now and help me express myself in the best light. Thank you.”
Archangel Gabrielle also helps with conception and childbirth.For problems conceiving and maintaining a pregnancy, ask for Archangel Gabrielle's intervention.
Ask for Archangel Gabrielle's assistance to intervene in any area of your life where it seems stuck. She'll "breathe new life" into still relationships and businesses. Ask for her to help you bring about creative ideas and opportunities to get you moving again.
She offers guidance and helps people find their next step in life on their divine mission. When asked for her assistance, she brings joy and grace, clarity, and order into your life. She opens you up to sympathy, understanding and generosity and, like all the archangels, will help you purify negative emotions and beliefs. She teaches us to take the time to appreciate all the experiences in our daily lives. She can help you to find your life's purpose and offer both inspiration and divine inner strength during times when there seems little to be thrilled about.
Work with Archangel Gabrielle to shine in your communications and creative expressions, heighten your intuition and to surround you in joy.
Gabrielle serves as the announcer and harbinger of good news and information.She gives us news of forthcoming events, changes on the horizon and opportunities that lie ahead of us. Many people believe Gabrielle is in charge of dreams, and prophecy. In her role as communicator, Gabrielle is known as the great communicator for the divine, ask for her help in understanding any puzzling dreams. She is especially able to help you assess your intuition, as well as provide practical support for effective communications in your outer, day-to-day life. Work with Gabrielle to heighten your psychic abilities.
Working with Archangel Gabrielle to Develop Intuition
Intuition is an ability that can't be measured by physical sensations or lateral understanding.Intuition is also called "street knowledge “because of it's direct insight into higher levels of awareness.Those that liberate their intuition are able to pass through the mundane human ego self and brings truths of future, past and present into their awareness.Shifting perception to a point where someone is able to perceive beyond the point of illusion of reality is easily attainable but many people are too encumbered by fear to be open.
All of us have the capacity to find all the answers to all the questions;
All you need to do is rely on the truth that is inside all of us.
There's so much more to the universe that can't be explained by science or rationality. By trusting more than what we just see or hear we become empowered by knowing about others and ourselves. Life just become so much easier when we have answers.
Basically developing your intuition go something like this. First, formulate a clear question or intention, then quite your mind of chatter.
Let go of any resistance or judgment. Trust the first impression you receive then focus on that impression for deeper insight.
To really increase your intuition, use meditation. Meditation is the practice of slowing down the mind chatter. When you're more focused, you become more aware of your aura and how to receive information.You allow yourself to stop and take a deeper look at situations around you. The more you meditate the better and clearer your intuition will be.
Let's do a meditation now to enhance intuition.
Exercise 7: Discovering your Guardian Angel’s Name
Below is an exercise to find out what name your guardian angel has. To begin either write every consonant in the alphabet on the little square or card or use the letters from scrabble sets and put them all in a bag.
Like a white candle and bring some incense, ideally frankincense or copal or myrrh. Center yourself, state your intention with an indication along with these lines:
Dear divine angel
Who has always been
My protector, guide, and Ally,
Please guide my hand to draw the letters
That spell your holy name,
So that I may write it up on my heart
And honor you as the friend thou art.
When I call your name please be
With me and show me so I can clearly see
The path of light and of love.
Now take a letter from the back and write it down on the blank piece of paper.Return the letter to the bag, shake the letters around, and take out another. Repeat this process until you have written down three or four letters– Let your intuition guide as to how many.Say you have drawn out the three letters M, D, and R, you then figure out the name with the vowels of your choice adding the letters EL at the end.You might then come up with aMaDRiEL or oMDiRiEL. Try out different combinations, always keeping the original consonants in the same order.You're bound to come up with a name that sounds right. This will be the name of your guardian angel. Don't worry if this seems an irrational or arbitrary method. You're allowing the universe, or rather your guardian angel, to guide you in a very straightforward way. Trust the process.
If you're confused as to what Angel to call on for particular problem the list below will help you choose the right one. Decide which problem you would like to work on right now and refer to the list to choose the angel you think could help you with that particular situation.
Calling on your Angels
If you like to be more aware of the spiritual worlds and the patterns of the universe you need the help of The Seraphim
If you'd like to feel a greater sense of communication with the divine you need The Cherubim.
If you are plaqued by fears of natural disasters you need The Thrones.
If you feel you’ve been giving your guardian angel a bad time lately, you need The Dominions to give your guardian angel support and to help strengthen the contact between you.
If you wish to send light or prayer to someone or some situation, or if you doubt that your prayers are ever heard you need The Virtues.
If you feel that whatever you do to help others or the universe is a small insignificant drop in the ocean: if you are experiencing a birth or a death in the family you need The Powers.
If you want to feel more in touch with your national heritage, or to bless the city in which you live or a particular large group to which you belong, you need The Principalities.
If you want peace or reconciliation, protection or to work more with your dreams you need Archangel Michael.
If you need family healing, more hopefulness or a sense of protection you need Archangel Gabrielle.
If you need help finding direction in your life; if you suffer from an illness for which, as yet, there is little medical help; need to let go of the past, if you have money worries, need forgiveness or clarity of mind or are concerned about social reform you could work with Archangel Uriel.
If you are disconnected with normality and find life static or tedious; need to feel more grounded; need physical, emotional, mental or spiritual healing, you could work with Archangel Raphael.
If you want to bring a particular angelic quality such as joy, delight, love, willingness, beauty, or harmony more consciously into your life; then you will need the angel that carries that quality; The Angel of Joy; The Angel of Delight; The Angel of Love; the Angel of Willingness, etc.
When you have selected the angel you would like to invoke, spend a few moments thinking about the wording of your invocation. It is important to name the angel or its sub-division, so you might begin:
Archangel Michael who blesses our dreams …. or
I invoke the angel of Beauty etc….
We all have the ability to connect with our angels. You may not feel you have connected but they are always there for you, waiting and wishing you would talk to them. Allow them in. Let them help you with every aspect of your life. Don’t be disappointed if you cant see them or hear them. Not everyone will be able to do this. That doesn’t mean you are less special than anyone else. Continue talking to them and asking for assistance and always practice the exercises in this course and you will see positive results.
